The Kiewa Street Market is held every Sunday, the five–day reading, writing and storytelling festival Write Around the Murray will be held in September and the garden and flower show Gardenesque will be held in October.

To the east and west of Wodonga you'll find Huon Creek and Huon Hill which provide short and long trails of varying gradients to spend a few hours.
