A winter wonderland to explore

EUROA is celebrating winter with a special event – the Winter Wonderland.

Held on the weekend of June 18 and 19, the site of former Gambles Nursery, in Binney Street will be transformed to include an ice skating rink, snow play area, photo booth, virtual reality experience and much more.

Many businesses will also have extended trading hours so visitors can take advantage of all Euroa has to offer.

This will be a special winter treat for all ages to enjoy so make sure you book your accommodation, or block out your calendar to include a day trip.

Markets across the shire:

The Euroa Village Farmers Market is on from 9am to 1pm on the third Saturday of each month in Rotary Park, Kirkland Avenue.

The market features around 30 stalls of fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs in season alongside a fantastic selection of meats – alpaca, lamb and beef, honey, free–range eggs, olive products, Strathbogie region wines and beer, nuts, native plants, exotic plants, sweet treats, quality preserves, organic sourdough breads, fresh cut flowers, heirloom seedlings, live poultry (in season), handmade crafts and jewellery and much more.

Food stalls include a community barbecue, vegetarian Indian take away, great coffee, sweet treats and fabulous local preserves.

Please bring your bags, baskets and trolleys and your four–legged friends – as long as they are on a leash.

The Violet Town Community Market offers 300 stalls packed with fresh produce, arts, crafts, jewellery, wine tastings, plants, tools, furniture and more.

Fill your basket with fresh bread, tasty cheeses, and organic fruits and vegetables and relax and enjoy live music, hot food, and great coffee.

No dogs (other than service dogs) are permitted at the Violet Town market and it is a non–smoking event.
