VISITORS and locals filled High Street for the opening of the Mansfield High Country Festival on Friday night, basking in the delightful weather and enjoying everything on offer.
Local businesses showcased their best food and drink while kids enjoyed the bouncy castle and pirate ship ride set up on the median strip.
On stage, local artists sang, played and danced to a supportive home crowd and Triple J Unearthed High 2022 Winner Jacotene rounded things off with an incredible performance for all.
Mansfield Shire Council Mayor Cr James Tehan said the event was a amazing success.
"The High Country festival's grand opening was fantastic with something on offer for every member of the family, and the fireworks a spectacle as always," he said.
"The CFA Emergency Services Torchlight Parade is a wonderful opportunity for the community to recognise our local heroes."
