SUMMER Picnic Racing has a strong family focus, and the Mansfield Cup on Sunday January 7, 2024 provides fun and entertainment for the whole family.

The Mansfield District Racing Club is excited to welcome Mansfield Power Ag on board as major sponsor and recognises the contribution that all local businesses providing sponsorship and support add to create a day to remember.

In addition to the thrill of country racing, where patrons can watch the field thunder past from a close vantage point, there are number of events and activities for all ages.

The family fun continues in the Foodworks Family Fun Zone with fee Kelly Sports activities, face painting and ride.

A new feature is a shaded ‘chill zone’ where the youngest race goers can take a break on a bean bag and enjoy giant games, perhaps while enjoying a cool drink or ice cream from the food court.

The entire family can set up their picnic on the extensive lawns and other shady areas.

There are also a number of food vendors and beverage outlets for purchase. However, patrons are reminded that BYO alcohol is not permitted.

Gates open at 11am and tickets and hospitality packages are available online via www.country.racing.com/mansfield.

Racegoers are encouraged to book online to avoid queues.

However, cash and card sales are available at the main entry gate.
