GUEST artist Tim Bowtell is currently showing a range of his contemporary artworks during a new solo exhibition called “Cognizant” which opened at Art Gallery on Ovens in Wangaratta this week.
The Benalla based artist, who is probably best known for his captivating murals created during recent Wall to Wall Festivals and found on sites such as the silos at St James and the Winton Rest Stop, is showing a collection of more than a dozen new and favourite works from his own studio practice.
Tim said he was excited to have the opportunity to bring the collection to Wangaratta having just spent the past three months painting five designs across six huge silos in Colbinabbin, adding to the burgeoning silo art trail.
